NO, due to insurances requiring a referral from your primary doctor we cannot take walk-ins.
You need to bring your Insurance ID card, a photo ID, your completed Patient Registration Packet, any current medications that you are taking in their original container, any reports of MRI, X-Rays, CT scans you may have that relate to your current pain condition, and your insurance co-pay.
In order for the doctor to prescribe you any medications, he has to see your current medications to make sure you do not have a negative medication interaction.
It is a urine test that is done here in the office. It requires you to leave a sample of your urine in a sterile test cup and then is tested for medications that you are currently taking and for drugs that should not be taking. It is requirement by the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) for all patients that may be prescribed narcotics.

Yes, we recommend someone come with you to help you take notes, and ask questions you may forget. However, because of room constraints we can only allow 1 person with you in the exam room.
Not usually, some insurance companies require authorization before any injections can be done and most procedures are not done in the office. Our doctors do their procedures at a surgery center. See Resources tab for a list of the surgical centers that we use.
No, the injection scheduler will contact you once approval has been received from your insurance.
Please call at least 2-3 days before running out of your medications. It is our office policy to refill prescriptions only during office hours which are M-F 8-5. That means refills Will Not be given after clinic hours, on weekends, holidays or when the clinic is closed. We do not do early refills, a 30 day prescription should last 30 days.

Your co-pay will only cover your actual cost of seeing the doctor. It does not cover any labs or procedures that may be performed during your visit. If your insurance does not cover those services you will responsible for that cost.
Payment is expected before your next appointment. If you cannot pay your balance please call the billing department at (361) 452-0136 to make arrangements for payment.
Refunds for overpayment or payment are only made after there has been full insurance reimbursement for all medical services on your account.
